Kaiser Permanente exists to provide affordable, high quality health care services to improve the health of its members and the communities it serves. The Fremont Medical Center is recognized for its state-of-the-art program in infertility/in vitro fertilization, and excels in bariatric surgery and in stroke care. Serving a linguistically diverse patient population with an unusually high proportion of deaf members, FMC (with nearby Kaiser facilities in southern Alameda County, California) launched the Kaiser Permanente Interpreter Network in 2008, and later tapped in to the interpreter resources of HCIN.

Kaweah Delta Health Care District is an eight-campus, 581-bed healthcare organization based in Visalia, California (Central Valley). Its areas of excellence include cardiac services, orthopedics, surgical services and obstetrics. Kaweah Delta operates the only Level III trauma center in Tulare and Kings Counties.
